About the Client
Our client is a high-growth cloud infrastructure company building automation products for Kubernetes at scale. The platform helps engineering teams reduce cloud spend while improving reliability and performance across multi-cloud environments.
About the Project
You will join one of three closely related product areas:
- Node provisioning & autoscaling: capacity decisions, reliability guardrails, Spot/on-demand strategies
- Workload optimization: CPU/RAM sizing and safe scaling based on runtime signals
- Storage optimization: cost and capacity optimization for Kubernetes storage
The work is product-driven, fast-paced, and focused on shipping real improvements to production clusters.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience
- Strong backend/system design skills (distributed systems, APIs, asynchronous workflows)
- Go (preferred) or strong engineering background with readiness to work in Go
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production (pods/nodes/scheduling/autoscaling concepts)
- Cloud experience (AWS is common; multi-cloud is a plus)
- Strong debugging skills and observability mindset (metrics/logs/tracing)
- Experience with Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews)
