Client
Our client is a US-based med-tech software house delivering innovative solutions for the medical industry. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, they create user-friendly applications tailored to healthcare providers’ needs, including electronic health records, medical imaging, telemedicine platforms, and data analytics tools. Their current project focuses on developing mobile apps that interface with insulin pumps, aiming to revolutionize diabetes care through advanced hybrid closed-loop systems.
Role
- Develop and execute test scripts using both manual and automated testing protocols.
- Independently design, develop, modify, and test mobile device operating system software, ensuring compliance with Tandem’s software process and testing protocols.
- Gain a deep understanding of application functionality and the corresponding test cases outlined in the protocol.
- Create new test cases and modify existing ones to cover various mobile device parameters.
- Conduct tests according to the preconditions and procedures specified in the protocol documentation.
- Accurately log defects using the tool provided by Tandem.
- Compile and submit comprehensive test and defect reports to the offshore test lead.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manual software testing
- Proficient in writing and executing manual test cases.
- Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking software.
- Basic understanding of automated testing concepts.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
